Milan was blocked by Juventus

MILAN - At San Siro it finished Milan-Juventus 1-1 in the Sunday evening match of the 35th matchday of Serie A. The Rossoneri went in front in the 57th minute with Clarence Seedorf's goal, Juventus drew in the 60th minute with Vincenzo Iaquinta's goal.

After a very tactical and blocked first half, the two teams return on the pitch with the same formations. Juventus attacked very well, with Iaquinta and Amauri always dangerous.

Milan does not find spaces where to launch Kaka and Juventus often opt for long balls for the attackers. Only a quick counter attack allowed Milan to take the lead. In fact Inzaghi overcame the offside line in the 57th minute and read very well Ambrosini’s movement who shot weakly. However, Seedorf is good to be on the ball’s trajectory and beat Buffon.

However, the lead of the Rossoneri lasted only four minutes, because Iaquinta, following a perfect cross by Camoranesi, managed to head past Kalac.

The final minutes of the game are authentic and continuous attacks and counter attacks with two teams wanting to make full points. In the 85th minute a nice shot by Pato is rebounded in the penalty area, whereas on the other hand is always very dangerous. Ronaldinho and Pirlo tried, but the three point hit did not arrive.

La Liga: Barca draw against Villareal

Barcelona were made to wait for a first piece of silverware under Pep Guardiola as they let a two-goal lead slip at home to Villarreal in the Primera Liga this evening.

Barca had all but wrapped up the title following last weekend's incredible 6-2 win at Real Madrid, a which result saw the Catalans move seven points clear of their fierce rivals with just four games remaining. And Madrid's 3-0 defeat at Valencia last night meant Guardiola's side could seal their first trophy of what has been an amazing season today.Seydou Keita's deflected effort gave Barca an early lead, and although Joseba Llorente equalised 10 minutes later, the home side took a two-goal lead in at the break thanks to strikes from Samuel Eto'o and Dani Alves.

And they were cruising in the second half until Eric Abidal was dismissed for the second time in five days with 14 minutes left. Mati Fernandez converted the resulting spot-kick and Llorente crashed home a dramatic late equaliser to silence an expectant home crowd deep into injury time.

There was a carnival atmosphere inside a packed Nou Camp as Barca set out to win their first piece of silverware this season.

A match between the two strongest team in English Premiere League where their fate depends on this game. As Man United won their game having another point advantage between these two teams.

Chelsea made the most of their chances at the Emirates to beat Arsenal 4-1 and assure themselves of an automatic Champions League place. In a terrible week for both clubs, the Blues took advantage of some sloppy defending to end the Gunners' unbeaten run in style.

Want-away striker Carlos Tevez picked up the headlines as he scored to help Manchester United to a 2-0 win over rivals City

First-half goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez earned Manchester United a 2-0 win against Manchester City and took them to within four points of another Premier League title.

Ronaldo produced another superb free-kick to put United in front.B ut that 18th-minute strike was overshadowed by Tevez's effort, the South American racing to the dug-outs and cupping his ears listening to the celebrations after claiming on Sunday morning that his future will be away from Old Trafford.

Bayern Munich

FC Bayern Munich (German: Fußball-Club Bayern München) is a German sports club based in Munich, Bavaria. It is best known for its professional football team, which is the most successful club in German football, having won 21 German titles and 14 cups.

The club was founded in 1900 by eleven football players led by Franz John. Although Bayern won its first national championship in 1932, the club was not selected for the Bundesliga at its inception in 1963. In the middle of the 1970s, the club had its period of greatest success, when the famous team led by Franz Beckenbauer won the European Cup three times in a row (1974–76). In recent years they have been by far the most successful team in German football, winning seven of the last ten championships. The club's last international title was the Intercontinental Cup in 2001.

The Bundesliga is the highest level of Germany's football league system. The term Bundesliga also applies to football in Austria and is used to refer to the highest level league competitions in several other sports in those two countries.

Germany was unusual, in that, unlike in other countries, a unified national league structure was quite late in developing. The Old Lady is the third most successful club in Europe and the sixth in the world with the most international titles officially recognised by one of the six continental football confederations and FIFA.

The Olimpico (Olympic) Stadium, formerly known as Comunale, is owned by the city of Turin, who carried out extensive restoring of the facility for the 2006 Winter Olympics; the Stadium hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of the event.
As from the 2006/07 season, both city clubs, Juventus and Torino, play all their home matches there. The Stadium can hold 25,442 people.
The former Comunale Stadium was built in the Thirties. The first match played there, on June 29 1933, was Juventus vs. Ujpest (6-2), the return leg of the quarter finals of the Central European Cup, a tournament of the time featuring clubs from Italy, Austria, Czechoslovakia and Hungary.
Juventus played 890 games at the Comunale Stadium between 1933 and 1990, and won 17 League titles there in that same period.

AC MILAN

Associazione Calcio Milan, commonly referred to as AC Milan and as just Milan in Italy, is an Italian professional football club based in Milan, Lombardy. The club was founded in 1899 by English lace-maker Herbert Kilpin and five other Englishmen and has since spent most of its history in the top flight of Italian football (only two years in Serie B in the eighties).

The team's current stadium is the 80,018 seat San Siro, officially known as Stadio Giuseppe Meazza after the former player who represented both Milan and Internazionale. The name San Siro is taken from the district where it's located. The stadium is shared with Internazionale, the other major football club in Milan. The stadium is well known for its fantastic atmosphere due to the closeness of the stands to the pitch. There is the frequent use of flares by the fans which often cause trouble.

Arsenal Football Club (often simply known as Arsenal or The Arsenal, or by their nickname The Gunners) are an English professional football club based in Holloway, North London. They play in the Premier League and are one of the most successful clubs in English football, having won thirteen First Division and Premier League titles and ten FA Cups, and hold the record for the longest uninterrupted period in the English top flight.

For the majority of their time in south-east London, Arsenal played at the Manor Ground in Plumstead, a three-year period at the nearby Invicta Ground between 1890 and 1893 excepted. The Manor Ground was initially just a field, until the club installed stands and terracing in time for their first Football League match in September 1893. They played their home games there for the next twenty years (with two exceptions in 1894–95), until the move to north London in 1913.
